APrystine Japanese Snowbell is a compact deciduous flowering tree with columnar branching, a tight oval crown, and smooth grey bark that fissures as it matures. Its elliptical deep green foliage is glossy without notable fall color, though it can have light shades of yellow or red. APrystine is a prolific flowerer with fragrant clusters of pure white pendular bell-shaped flowers that bloom in late spring and early summer. Grows best in full sunand rich, well-drained acidic soil.
