Twilight Crape Myrtle is a small deciduous tree with mottled exfoliating bark. The glossy deep green foliage emerges bronze and turns shades of yellow, orange, and burgundy in fall. Large fragrant panicles of rich true purple flowers bloom on new wood in summer. Best color in full sun and rich well-drained soil. Mildew resistant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water Regularly. Prune back in spring before bloom to promote flowers. It can be susceptible to leaf spot and powdery mildew. Watch for aphids and scale.
