Presidential Gold Ginkgo is fast-growing for a ginkgo, a deciduous tree with full branching when young that becomes more upright with age and an oval crown. The unique fan-shaped leaves open like small medium green globes and gain a rich gold color in fall. Best color in full sun and moist, well-drained soils. Presidential Gold is a male variety, thus does not produce the messy foul-smelling fruits most gardeners avoid.
