Aeryn Trident Maple is a small deciduous tree with an oval crown and exfoliating bark when mature.  The triangular, three-lobed leaves are glossy green above and pale green beneath and gain shades of yellow and orange in fall.  Non-showy, greenish-yellow flowers bloom in mid-spring.  Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established.  Pest and heat resistant.
