Chinese Snowball Viburnum is an early blooming upright multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with dense branching and glossy toothed bright green leaves that turn purple-red in fall. Large ball-like clusters of non-fragrant flowers open lime green but quickly mature to white in spring. Flowers best with moist, lightly acidic well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established. Foliage is semi-evergreen in the South.
